What is included for the "critter" Yard Card price/delivery?

A "critter" yard display is a 1 day (dawn to dusk) rental that includes a personalized, customized 3 or 4ft. message board (LawnLetters can be substituted for the message board), 18-25 coordinating critters of your choice (all the same or mix and match), door bag/card, souvenirs, delivery (out of area fee may apply), set up, and take down. Additional critters can be added for $.50 apiece. See Price & Terms for additional rental periods and prices.

How much notice is needed?

The more the bettter, but we try and accomodate the best we can. You don't want to miss out on your favorite critters or the day that wonderful baby comes home! The earlier you you can reserve the better we can get you exactly what you want. It is possible to have a delivery scheduled only 24 hours or less ahead of time depending on availability and speed of payment.

How do I pay?

Easy! We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Payments can also be made online through a secure Paypal invoice (must have sender's email) or through the Paypal site. You may also drop off cash or mail a money order. All funds must be verified/cleared before delivery can be made. WE ARE SORRY THAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Business checks must have a 2 week clearance period.

Do you deliver every day of the week?

During the months of April through December, We Sure do! Barring anything unforseen such as horrible weather, rock hard, frozen ground, or personal emergencies. However, we don't do deliveries on any religious or federal holidays including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day. New Year's Eve/Day or Easter, Labor Day or Memorial Day. We do close for a 1-2 week summer break and those dates will be posted on the web site when they are determined.

At this time, we are only able to deliver to the Toledo, Sylvania, Bowling Green, Perrysburg, Norwalk and Oregon areas on weekends and the months of June-Aug.

Will you deliver in bad weather or under any conditions?

We do our best. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel a delivery if the delivery or display cannot be completed due to severe weather, frozen ground or if we deem it impossible to reach a location safely. In this instance, we will gladly reschedule.

We are not responsible for frozen ground, loose dogs or dogs barking, nosey neighbors, police questioning, wild animals, and whatever else might prevent us from setting up the entire display. We make every effort possible to complete the entire job. We appreciate your understanding on this and will contact you to reschedule.

Can I combine "critters" in my Yard Card display?

A lawnful of 18-25 Critters (dependant upon critter choice) is included in the Yard Card Display (Does not include Stork Announcement) base price. We can work with you if you want more than 1 kind of critter or more than 25 critters (see Price & Terms). Additional critters are available for $.50 a piece and are subject to availability. Customize and and get creative!

Does someone need to be home to have the display/sign delivered?

 No, it is not neccessary. However, if possible, it would be helpful if someone at the delivery address knows about the delivery so as to secure any animals (barking dogs), turn on a porch light, alert the neighbors, etc... This just helps the success of the "secret" delivery.

Can we keep a critter for a keepsake?

We are working to have this option available. It is possible that a souvenir "critter" can be ordered and purchased depending on availability. 

 What information do you need for delivery?

A complete address is needed and any directions/landmarks you can provide. We may deliver in the dark and good directions are a must! If someone in the home is in on the Yard Card, please have them leave a porch light on and make sure any dogs are secured so as not to give us away.

What are your rental policies?

The displays are not toys and are not safe for climbing or leaning on. Please do not remove any part of the display. If there is a problem, please contact us and we will do our best to come ASAP to remove the display. Any missing or damaged inventory will be charged to the customer who purchased the display. If needed and with advacned notice, we will gladly remove the display prior to the previously arrange time. All addresses need to have an adaquate grass area. Corner lots must have a side grass area. Deliveries can be made to an apartment building if there is a grassy area out front and if written permission from the Landlord/owner is on file with LawnLaughs Yard Cards prior to delivery.

The Sender/renter of the Yard Card display is responsible for all theft and damages (due to recipient negligence). Full retail price will be charged for any damages or theft of any part of a display.

Do you have a refund policy?

LawnLaughs Yard Cards will issue a refund if you cancel your rental at least 48 hours in advance of the delivery date. If conditions that are out of our control, other than weather, make delivery impossible, we will gladly reschedule.

No refunds will be given if:

  • You cancel with less than 48 hours notice (by 11:00pm three nights before delivery date)
  • The delivery address you supplied is incorrect
  • If we are prevented from setting up the display by the property owner, security or police.
  • If we cannot gain access to the intended display area
  • If property owner or representative thereof requests display be taken down early.
  • Animals (domestic or otherwise) on property prevent setup
  • There is no grassy area to set up.
